A small, intimate retreat — limited spaces

If you're a midlife woman longing for more space to reconnect with yourself through embodiment, compassion, and time in nature, the Wild & Worthy Adventure Retreat  may be exactly what this season is asking for.

What if healing could feel wild, playful, and deeply restorative?

PSSST...

You're living a full life.
You care deeply. You give generously. You carry a lot.

A unique, 3-night, May Long Weekend lakeside adventure experience designed to support healing and reconnection in a way that is intentional, embodied, and deeply supportive — while also joyful, playful, and alive.

And over time, even the most capable, self-aware women can feel quietly tired — not because anything is wrong, but because their nervous systems have been holding more than they were meant to hold alone.

An Okanagan Adventure Retreat
Wild & Worthy

Not to escape your life —
but to return to it feeling more resourced, grounded and alive.

  • You feel tired in ways that rest alone doesn’t resolve
  • You notice your capacity feels stretched more and more often
  • You give a lot of emotional labour — at work, in family, in relationships
  • You often feel disconnected from playfulness, pleasure, or aliveness
  • You long for spacious time to reconnect with what’s true inside you

You know yourself.
You've done meaningful inner work.
You understand the importance of self-care.

And still...

Tell me if this feels familiar?

You don’t need to figure it out alone.
You just need the right container to support you.

  • Clear about who you are — yet carrying more than you can easily process
  • Able to keep going — but aware that something in you needs restoration
  • Ready for healing that includes movement, compassion, and nervous system support
  • Drawn to nature as a place where you can finally exhale and be fully present
  • Curious about exploring your fatigue with kindness rather than pressure

I know how frustrating this is because I’ve been there, too.

You might be feeling:

Wild & Worthy

And that's why I created

  • Compassionate nervous-system awareness
  • Somatic practices that restore regulation & embodied safety
  • Gentle exploration of capacity and energy leaks
  • Embodied movement, creativity, and intuitive self-expression
  • Nature as a powerful, nourishing co-regulator

Over the years, I’ve worked with many thoughtful, capable women who are deeply committed to growth, healing, and caring for others.

Again and again,
I’ve seen the same pattern:
Not a lack of insight. Not a lack of strength. But a lack of space.

Space to listen to the body. Space to understand their true capacity.
Space to release accumulated tension. Space to reconnect with your embodied truth.

Wild & Worthy was created as a retreat that blends:

Because healing and restoration don't happen through pushing. They happen through support, safety, and reconnection.

Authentic, supportive community without pressure to perform or share beyond your comfort.

A weekend retreat can be a beautiful investment in YOU, your restoration, growth and expansion. If you're not sure if this is a fit for you, please just email carladawes@shaw.ca and we can set up a connection call to have all your questions answered to help you make a decision that feels right for you.

Still thinking about it?

Women who deserve a little space.

A little wildness.

And a little time to remember who they are.

If you've been here before — or joined one of my retreats,
you already know.

As a Somatic Coach, avid backpacker, stand-up paddleboarder, mountain biker, and lifelong lover of the outdoors, I deeply value time in nature. Especially now, when so many of our days are filled with screens, noise, and constant doing.

Nature has always been a powerful equalizer and co-regulator for me. The rhythms of the water and the land, the fractals, the quiet intelligence of the natural world — it has a way of bringing us back to ourselves.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that my relationship with nature has saved me more than once.

In my work, I bring my superpowers of compassion, acceptance, and hope. I hold space for women to exhale, soften, and reconnect with themselves — often in ways they didn’t even realize they needed.

Because most of the time, transformation doesn’t happen through pushing harder.

It happens when we finally feel safe enough to be seen exactly as we are.

And when we do that together — with intention, with support, and with the medicine of nature all around us — something powerful begins to shift.

It’s my deep honour to create these experiences for powerful women who are often carrying a lot… women who give so much of themselves to their families, their work, and the people they love.

Big hugs, I hope you'll join us.
